Here's what customers have to say
Here is the refined product review summary: The shoes provide excellent cushioning and responsiveness, described as "bouncy", "breathable", and "light" by many runners. They offer a unique, enjoyable running experience and have helped some users achieve personal bests. However, some report issues with stability and durability, finding the midsole too soft, especially on longer runs or technical terrain. Fit can also be inconsistent, with the shoes running small or large for some. Overall, these high-performance racing shoes may be best suited for fast-paced training and racing, but may not work as well for everyday use, especially for heavier or longer-distance runners.

very soft and bouncy compared with the elite.
You need some time to be used to it and run some miles before the marathon race.

Too unstable
I wanted to love these but between the very high stack height and the squishiness of the foam without anything apparently reinforcing the edges I felt that these were too high risk to race in. Perhaps at a large size it would provide enough stability but with a size 5 they are very unstable high platform shoes that one would have to maintain perfect form in and probably never take a sharp turn or significant grade. This is not realistic for marathon or Ironman running which is what I wanted them for.

Comfy but unstable
I've never rolled my ankle so many times. These shoes are honestly so comfortable and light and would be so great for my running if I didn't roll my ankle every 10 steps. The shoes are so unstable and I tried to get used to them but after severely rolling my ankle for the 100th time and having to take a few weeks off of running to recover before my half marathon, I've given up. I wanted to love these shoes, but I need something more stable. I've never had this experience with any other shoe before, so quite disappointing.

Great shoe
Bought these for Chicago 2025. I found the fit to be a little wide but true to my other shoes in length. They are extremely comfortable but not very stable. If you are a pronator naturally, these will work great. For those who have ankle issues, I would not recommend. Personally, they make a lot of noise but they are the best feeling long run shoes I have ever worn. Significant since I have run more than 40 marathons. I have not had them long enough to address the reported wear issues and mine have just over 150 miles on them but still look good. Definitely NOT a trail shoe though, so stick to the roads.

Dissapointed
I bought the Endorphin Elite 2s after really enjoying my experience with the Elite version 1s. I raced 2 marathons and 2 halfs in the orginals and loved the pop they gave. I bought the Elite 2s hoping for a similar experience, as I love all Saucony products. However, I was extremely disappointed in this shoe. I raced a 10k and a full marathon in them this fall. The 10k was okay. I didn't have much to report from the race feel, but after only 6.2 miles in less than 40 minutes of running, the foam on the bottom was already showing signs of significant wear. I decided to stick with them for the Baystate marathon, and I was extremely disappointed. Late in the race, they began to loosen and create horrible blisters on the front of my toes and the side of my feet. I cannot even compare these shoes to their original version, which is extremely disappointing. I am unlikely to buy the elites again unless a newer version resembles the original in feel. As a saucony purist, I am upset to say I will have to look elsewhere for carbon plated race shoes.

Issue with the toebox
I bought these for the Chicago marathon hoping it would replace my alphalfys, but had a bad experience with the toebox. The height is really low to where my toes got blisters after a short tempo run (6mi). The foam is great and really wished it worked. I also ordered my usual marathon size (generally 1/2 size up), but just didn't work. Maybe if I had ordered yet another 1/2 size up that would've done it, but by foot would basically be swimming in the shoe. Please do something with the toebox - I'm secretly rooting for an alternative to the alphaflys!

Saucony Elite 2
I really wanted to love these shoes because they made my feet feel like I was running on clouds, but still had that snap I love about the Endorphin Pros. However, the foam started to breakdown after my first run. Big chunks of foam were falling off the shoe after a few runs, and then the heel completely separated from the sole. I'm hoping it was a fluke, and just a bad pair, as I am tempted to try another one. That's how comfortable they were!

Endorphin Elite II Chicago 2025
Purchased for the Chicago Marathon and I set a PR of 2:54:46 at the age of 49. These shoes for sure were faster than my previous Endorphin Pro II shoes that I ran my previous four marathons in. Next up is Berlin and/or New York where I’ll go for sun 2:50:00.

They don't have enough support, they hurt my feet in just one day, money down the drain.

Best race shoes ever
Great shoes for race day. The only downside is the sizing because they are unisex so they run a little smaller than my regular running shoes size. Careful before ordering because of it.
