What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve logged miles in the Endorphin Speed 5 and love how it blends speed and softness. The PWRRUN PB foam keeps the shoe lively underfoot, and the nylon plate delivers just enough pop without being too stiff. It's fast, light, and surprisingly stable."
When we’re chasing PRs or knocking out a midweek tempo session, the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 Running Shoe brings the bounce and efficiency we need to keep pushing forward. It features Saucony’s high-performance PWRRUN PB foam for a light, ultra-responsive feel underfoot that keeps every stride energized.
The flexible nylon plate adds subtle propulsion without the rigidity of carbon, offering a smoother ride with improved stability and turnover. A consistent 38mm stack height with an 8mm drop keeps the geometry familiar and supportive. Whether we’re racing through intervals or logging base miles, this shoe keeps us fast and focused.

Feels Different - Disappointed
Thiis shoe does not feel as responsive as all of the previous Endorphin Speed models. It also feels like a higher volume shoe - it's much looser than all previous models I've worn (same size). Not sure what they changed, but it feels clunky and big compared to all previous models (I've worn and loved all previous models). Bummer.

Speedy Beginner friendly shoe
I’ve tried so many shoes searching for the perfect HYROX shoe for both training and race day, and this one finally checks all the boxes! It’s flexible enough for sled pushes, springy for jumping and running at faster speeds, and still comfortable at slower paces. Best of all, I’ve had no knee or joint pain like I usually feel with carbon-plated shoes—so it’s definitely beginner-friendly. The only downside (and why I took off one star) is that the tongue is way too short and the laces are too short for tying a runner’s knot. The size is true to size and the toe box is in the wider side so I don't recommend this if you have narrow feet.

Love these shoes wished they had better colors
I wish they had better color choices colors. Especially for women. I love the highlighter/neon yellow. We all don’t want just the pastels colors. If yall played with the color way more I think these would get sold out Also a slightly wider toe box would be nice to have too

Tongue is too short
Love the shoe, but seriously why is the tongue so short? It is nothing like the photos. It does not even extend to where the laces tie. I am a women's size 10.5. Perhaps they don't adjust the length of the tongue as the sizes go up?

Different then the Speed 4
I love the endorphin line and I always buy them. I was expecting the same or at least similar to the speed 4. These are much more stiff and the material is more race shoe material. That being said they do run a touch small, like a typical race shoe does. I bought these in my normal size and my toes are killing me after running in them. I would recommend half size up.

Pretty Good
I like fit of this generation but they feel slightly heavier than the 4. I’ve done a few 10+ milers in the Speed5, and while I like them, my biggest complaint is it’s not as peppy feeling and springy as the 4. Still a solid shoe, however it may take some time to adjust.

Better fit
I found the 5 to have a slightly more roomy toe box. I loved the 3’s and struggled with the tightness of the 4’s even though I do not have a wide foot.

Back on track!
I feel like saucony ia back on track with these shoes. I really struggled with the 4s and these feel so much more like the 2s.

Saucony Endorphin speed 5
I bought these, thought they would be like the 2’s But no where near close, I really wish they would bring back the rocker, that is what made me fall in love with them, now I have to find another shoe that has it, so disappointed!!
