Not at all what I expected...

This shoe was completely UNSTABLE for me. I loved the cushion, but I couldn't do Zumba in it, and I definitely didn't feel stable enough to run in it. It felt as though my foot and the shoe were going two different directions. It was very uncomfortable.

Poor upgrade from Kinvara Pro

I used the endorphin trainer for my last marathon cycle and ran them for the London marathon. I really wanted to like this shoe but something about it just wasn’t right. I see some people here saying it feels like a stability issue for me. It felt incredibly unstable like the top and bottom half of the shoe were completely disconnected. This is a poor upgrade for the Sacony can borrow a pro which is an issue II really wanted to like this shoe but something about it just wasn’t right. I see some people here saying it feels like a stability issue for me. It felt incredibly unstable like the top and bottom half of the shoe were completely disconnected. This is a poor upgrade for kinvara pro which I loved- I was so excited to try this shoe and now I’m incredibly sad the discontinuation of the kinvara pro. I love that shoe and I bought as many pairs as I could. The endorphin trainers are very different and are much more unstable feeling, I’m fine running in a different shoe if it has the same ride but the endorphin trainer is not an improvement. I hope they will change the trainer to feel more like the kinvara pro as it is a superior shoe. Anyway my two cents. Now I have to search for new shoes and am soooo sad.

Love

I love this shoe. Plenty of room in the toe box. The cushion feels just right and I can log double digits run without pain. I’m doing most of my Chicago marathon miles on these!

New Favorite Shoe!

I don’t normally write reviews but after seeing so many negative reviews for this shoe I had to give my experience! I’m obsessed with this shoe!! I’ve used the Saucony Triumphs for years, but recent models (20-22) gave me random arch pain and have been mainly running in older triumphs models and Brooks since. I needed new shoes and ended up trying out these shoes in store and instantly fell in love. The energy return from the plate is amazing, but the cushioning gives me enough support for long runs too. The first time I did a speed workout in them I felt like I just kept accelerating and accelerating. These have been my current go to for marathon training. Can’t wait to wear these on race day!

Not a fan

I’m mystified as to why this shoe is included in the Endorphin line. It’s clunky and heavy feeling. Felt like I was plodding through quicksand. I guess if you’re searching for a heavy stability style trainer you might like this. But definitely not for me.

Wonderful shoe!!

I purchased these, hoping for the advantages of an endorphin shoe while also providing cushion that doesn’t weigh me down like the Triumph. I had complicated foot surgery and could no longer wear the endorphin speed shoes. This is the only shoe I can currently wear that my foot has no pain….none at all! I’m so happy to be pain-free and getting back to running finally. I just wish I had bought a pair or two more prior to the price increase!

Good and stable shoe.

I’ve done four runs in this shoe so far and it’s great for my mechanics. Very stable, especially if you pronate slightly. A bit noisy, but not bad. I wish the forefoot was a little more stiff to improve the roll, but I’d recommend this shoe. Hoping the next pair I buy will be the same as that was not my experience with my second pair of Speed 4s.

More of a stability shoe.

This shoe really needs to be marked as a stability shoe and not neutral! Feels like running with two heavy bricks on your feet with a big thumping noise. And what’s with the clunky heel?! There’s not much roll to it either—very different from the rest of the Endorphin line. Worst shoe I’ve ever run in—that and the speed 4. I think it’s time to look outside the Saucony brand, although i absolutely love the endorphin pro 4.

Disappointed

I have been running in saucony's for over two decades and I have never disliked a shoe before until I ran in these. The cushion of the shoe is intense and I thought this would be great for long runs however the actual shoebox is so wide I feel like I'm going to roll an ankle. No matter how I tie them my feet slide around inside of them and I have pain in my knees and ankles afterwards. It always takes a while to adjust to new shoes but I have ran in these a handful of times and I just cannot run in them without pain and fear of injury. I have most of the endorphin line and these are just very different than any of the other shoes. I would compare them more to hokas and I am not a fan of those! If you have narrow feet these are definitely not the shoe for you.
