Watercell X delivers rugged, packable hydration storage for remote basecamps
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve used the Watercell X on multi-day backpacking trips and remote car-camping missions—it’s incredibly durable, easy to carry, and packs down flat when empty. The cap design makes it easy to pour, hang, or even use with a shower attachment."
When water sources are scarce or distant, we trust the Sea to Summit Watercell X to keep our supply clean, secure, and close at hand. Whether we’re setting up a remote basecamp or spending days off-grid in the wilderness, this flexible reservoir holds serious volume without the hard edges and bulk of traditional jugs.
Built with RF-welded seams and abrasion-resistant TPU, the Watercell X is ready for rugged environments. Its internal baffle keeps water stable while carrying, and the multi-function cap makes it easy to fill, pour, and connect accessories like the shower head. A welded carry handle and lash points let us hang it from a tree, secure it to a pack, or haul it back to camp. When hydration matters most, this is the tool we bring to make it happen.

It’s just a bag of water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 6L size, good for two people for more than a day. Very light, collapses to flat small size for transport. Very tough fabric and construction. No leaking. Wide mouth for filling. Cap is tight. Spout seemed backwards at first because it was under the bag. Close direction of cap is close of spout, open direction of cap is open of spout. No leaks very small drips. Hangs from cords around a small tree. Water station at edge of campsite.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used two 20L dromedaries on a 10-day kayak trip. They feel durable so far. My one critique is that the spout is tricky to pour from.

Amazingly useful item.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I got these. I needed more water storage on a recent trek and they were perfect. Packed down small and light and holds so much.

Must have product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the things you don’t think about this is one you should get. Just the ability to empty all the contents out and have it dry properly is a plus. I have used a lot of bladders and this one is tough-easy to fill and empty while being built like a tank

My 10L cell leaked on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10L cell leaked on me during our winter camping trip. The leak was coming from the lid even after securing it before transportation.

The watercell is my constant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watercell is my constant companion when hiking or hunting. It's soft construction helps it slide into a backpack easily and as you use the water or if you only semi filled it to begin with it only takes up the space of the water it holds. The exterior is a rigid and durable material and has held up to being dropped onto rocks, brambles and all other manner of potential punctures flawlessly. I started with the 6L but have moved to the 4L unless it's scorching out. The 6L now lives in my truck for refills/emergencies.
