Streamlined Di2 integration with the BT-DN300 Battery—slim, stable, and future-ready
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I just started running the BT-DN300 in my new Di2 setup, and the clean look is a major win. It fits perfectly inside the seatpost, and the extra SD300 port gives me the wired backup I want for longer endurance rides."
When we want our Di2 system to be sleek, reliable, and ready for the road ahead, we install the Shimano BT-DN300. Designed to mount internally inside a seatpost or frame, this compact battery delivers steady power to front and rear derailleurs with a minimalist footprint.
With three SD300 ports and full compatibility with Shimano’s latest R9250 and R8150 12-speed Di2 groupsets, it supports both semi-wireless and fully wired configurations. For riders seeking extra reliability on long rides or remote adventures, that third port offers a trusted wired connection option—all without changing fit or form.

Excellent shifting, Poor ergonomics
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Not sure what this "SHIU1OS" is but expect it is the shifter part of the XTR Di2 upgrade I just bought. No complaints about the shifting itself. It is quick and could be quicker if I so desired. The multishift is rock solid as Di2 is in general. As for ergonomics I am not a fan of thumb shifters, which this is one. There is really no way to put both triggers in easy reach of the thumb. If the downshift is under the thumb, the upshift will be behind it. Apparently the current (hopefully short-lived) trend to thumb shifting is so "the fingers can stay on the brakes". I never had any issues with braking with the old-school trigger shifters. I actually can't recall a time when I was trying to shift while braking for that matter. So on that front this shifter gets one star for an overall 3 stars.
