Great Shoe; Unnecessary Size Confusion

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I upgraded to the Sidi Ergo 6 shoe from the Sidi Genius 10, after riding the Genius 10 model for >12k miles. Moving from a carbon composite sole to a full carbon sole was immediately noticeable, to my amazement! More efficient power transfer with the stiffer sole is what I was going for. My only disappointment was with the unnecessary confusion over Sidi sizing. I was drawn to the Ergo 6 because reviews touted the 'Millennium' last that’s a bit roomier than their older models. Other Sidi models are available in a 'Mega' width which promises a wider shoe versus 'Regular' width. My older Genius 10 shoe was 'Mega' width and my new Ergo 6 is made on a 'Millennium' last. Confusing, huh?! From what I can tell after 150+ miles of riding with the new shoe, the Millenium last is wider than Regular width, but not as wide at Mega width?! Overall, the Ergo 6 is a fantastic shoe and I'm happy that I upgraded. Hopefully with a little more time and a shoe stretcher, I can replicate the fit of my old Genius 10.

Great shoes

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Bigger toe box makes them more comfortable than my Sidi shot’s. Also, they run true to size.
