Here's what customers have to say
The Freestone Sling Pack is a well-designed and well-made pack that offers ample storage and organization for a day on the water. Many reviewers praised its spaciousness, with room for essentials. The pack is comfortable to wear and easy to access, with the ability to swivel it from back to chest. However, some reviewers noted minor issues, such as the net holder being difficult to access, a lack of attachment points for accessories, and the pack feeling slightly awkward when worn with a life vest. Overall, the pack is a great option for anglers looking for a versatile and high-quality pack.

So far so good!
First time using a sling pack so I'm still getting used to it. May not be ideal for my needs, but it is well constructed. It could use 2-3 extra separate zippered compartments, but a good quality pack overall, good storage room in a compact size. Takes a little getting used to, but easy to swivel from back to chest when you need access. I don't think this will replace my hip pack, but will definitely keep this as a backup or to leave in my vehicle.

Awesome pack
Best pack I have used. Stores a bunch of stuff. No need to take it off to retie when steelheading!

Great Pack
Great pack all around. Large enough to stow a mid weight rain jacket or shell along with other gear, but small enough that it doesn’t get in the way. Really like this pack.

Excellent Fly Pack!
This pack is perfect size for winter fishing. For other seasons I use the G3 Simms vest, but for winter fishing in the wet/cold I prefer a pack. It is well organized and everything is thought out. It needs some loops to hang nippers/forceps, however.

Gink holders dont
The straps that are designed to hold the gink are too loose, it falls out. Otherwise great product.

Almost perfect
It’s really got a ton of room. Isn’t the most straightforward thing to figure out.. but remember, this is coming from a guy who used a traditional vest for the last 35-40 years.

For lefties
I like everything about it, except that it sits on my right shoulder while casting. Simms please make a mirror image of this pack that does all the same functions but sits on the Left shoulder and spins around to access the opposite direction.

Looks good, doesn’t fit good.
It sits awkward on the shoulder. I’ve loosened the straps tighten them. Adjusted it as many different ways as I could and nothing. I would love to switch it for something else.
