Here's what customers have to say
The fishing gloves are generally well-received, with users praising their durability, sun protection, and comfort. They are reported to be suitable for various fishing activities. However, some customers have experienced issues with the stitching and stripping guard wearing out quickly. While a few found the gloves to be tight or difficult to put on, many are still satisfied and would purchase them again. Overall, the gloves appear to be a versatile and protective option for anglers, though potential durability concerns should be considered.

Also great for hiking
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These make great sun gloves for hiking. Mine have held up well for several multi day trips. The leather palms mean you can se trekking poles all day, clamber over rocks etc without problems. I found these run a little small, I wear a large with most brands but fit a medium with these.

Fell apart after 2-3weeks
My review title says it all. Both gloves started falling apart after 2-3 weeks of use. Given, I used them hard, guiding every day, rowing the boat etc. but they are literally called the guide glove, you would think they would hold up a little better.

Great gloves!
This is my second pair of Simms guide gloves. I somehow lost the last pair, and they were great as well, so I went right back to Simms for another pair. I highly recommend these gloves.

Men’s SolarFlex Guide Glove
Bomber gloves, thicker palm leather than any other gloves, i row heavy boats so that’s important, they also have outlasted any of my other gloves.

Guide gloves
These gloves are great for sun protection. As a striper guide, these gloves give protection from gill plates and fish lips but still let you do a quick leader repair. Youre able to untangle line easily.

Favorite Tarpon Gloves
Needed something heavier duty for wrangling leaders as a saltwater guide. These gloves have a great balance between sun-gloves and heavy duty gloves and are my favorite for handling larger Salty species!

Now an essential part of my kit
I bought these gloves for sun protection, but find myself using them for a lot more than that. I fish with them on cold mornings to take a little edge off my hands, and I keep them in my rain jacket, because when its wet, my hands get line burn if Im catching fish. I like how the fabric is smooth and doesnt get caught up with the hook, and theres zero issue tying knots. Theyre a little hard to get on, but I also dont notice them once I do. Cuffs go right over them with no issues whether its a jacket or a sun hoody. Fly fishing with gloves is always a bit of a drag, but Im going to keep fishing these until I have to go warmer. Even then, Im always going to try getting by with these first. I didnt realize how much use theyd get when I purchased them.
