Here's what customers have to say
The reviews for these sunglasses are mixed. Customers praise the excellent clarity and color enhancement of the lenses, as well as the comfortable fit and great coverage. However, there are significant concerns about the durability and fragility of the frames and lenses, with many reporting breakage and shattering even with minor impacts. The warranty service has also been criticized as inadequate by some customers. Additionally, some found the integrated strap difficult to install and the nose pads prone to slipping. Overall, the sunglasses offer high quality when they work, but the durability and warranty issues are major drawbacks for many customers.

Good but super creeky.
The sunglasses were.. creeky. Every time I put them on the arms would creek like they’d seen salt. They are my last choice in my sunglasses pile.

My “go to” sunglasses
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this pair to donate the frames to my prescription Guides Choice sunglasses. I have to admit, I asked Smith if I could buy a frame from them, they said no, so I bought a regular pair on sale to use the frames to replace the broken one on my Rx glasses.

Made in the shade
Light weight. Great optics. Not too dark and plenty of coverage. Perfect on the bicycle or boat.

Awesome glasses I got on sale. They fit my head well, and are very comfortable all day while fishing. The grey frames look slightly blue to me, but I like blue so its ok. Contrast from the green lenses is good for looking into the water.

Optics very good. Not much option for fit adjustment, would like tighter fit at ears.

Blue/Yellow glass
Bought the new glass blue/yellow lens. Very disappointing. Thought they would be more on the blue side but they are completely yellow. A yellow lens with a vlt of 11-23 makes absolutely no sense. You are basically just enhancing the sun and not letting enough light in on cloudy days. Going to send them back.

Skip the Smith Guide Choice sunglasses.
These Guide Choice polarized fishing sunglasses will be returned to Bean. The quality of the lens is so poor that the glasses are not useable for fly fishing. I can tie a size 16 dry fly to a 5X fluor leader with the naked eye. When I put on these "fishing" glasses they are so distorted that I cannot see the leader well enough to thread the leader through the eye of the hook, let alone tie a knot. What a shame for a Smith product that claims clarity of the lens as one of their best attributes. I have 40-year-old fit over Cocoons that cost $39 that are more useable than these expensive Smith Guide Choice glasses. Very disappointed!

High quality through and through.

In my opinion the frames are a bit narrow for a larger man with wider face, but the materials and quality is great, no question about it. Glass quality is a step up from lower proved Smith options and the integrated lanyard work great.
