What you're looking for is Photochromic. ChromaPop is a crappy Smith branded gimmick that doesn't work, but they charge the high price. I spent too much money on these glasses and they are too dark and do not operate as advertised. The lenses are too dark for tree biking, there is no technology in the lens, do not waste your money.

Great For Year Round Use

For mountain biking, a nice ski tour, or everyday use these are my glasses of choice. They have great fit and coverage, the lenses and frame have been very durable, plus I like the look. Not boring like your dad glasses, but not quite as flashy as some other models, right in the sweet spot.

Glasses are fragile and break easily at hinge/temple piece. Smith does not offer replacement pieces which means you have to buy new glasses…

I bought the glasses about a month ago and super glad I did. I was going to get a Tifosi pair but ended up buying these due to the reviews about the comfort. I hardly notice these are on my head! They are super lightweight. Provide great protection with the oversized lenses and they breathe super well. I have not used the adjustable nose piece as the fit seems great as is. I was a little concerned the first time I changed the lenses that I might break something, but now that I've done it a few times, they pop in and out very easily. The carrying case is fantastic and overall I couldn't be happier! If I had one thing I would add is I wish Smith made available for purchase a photo chromatic lense for these frames

Stellar Performance Glasses

I was looking for lightweight performance sunglasses for trail running and other outdoor activities this spring. I’ve had my pair since May and have used them almost daily since then while training for a half marathon. I chose these glasses over the bobcat because of the adjustable nose feature. I rarely have issues of them sliding off my face… that only happens when I wear sunscreen on my nose on a hot day. I have a smaller face but the smallest nose setting works great for me! I’m impressed by how easy it is the remove the lense and the durability of these! They are beautiful and a statement piece, I always get compliments when I wear them. I’m considering buying a replacement lense because I’m hopeful to have these for a long time! I would absolutely buy these again in a heartbeat. 10/10 would recommend!

These are exactly what I was looking for. I wish the lenses could be switched out quicker and hopefully that will be an option in the future. They look great and provide excellent coverage.

Great frames for a bit and then disintegrated

These frames started awesome (I have the pink/blue ones), so much that I also purchased the photocromic lenses. Use for MTB and backcountry skiing. Noticed that the frame color started to fade and got "sticky" so the material was deteriorating. Smith said wasn't covered under warranty. Lame. Beware of longevity.
