Protects lips from hot cup rims. Easily clips onto rolled cup rim and protects your mouth from hot metal. Easily cleaned. I suggest occasionally removing and cleaning underside.

Wouldn't stay on my cups

Didn't love these - they wouldn't stay in place on any of my cups, and sometimes popped off at the last minute so I ended up burning my lips anyway. I gave up on using them first day into the backpacking trip.
