Initial impression is good to go.
- Size Bought:
- 4 person

An initial setup for inspection prior to use showed absolutely zero flaws with what appears to be a well made tent. Setup was quick and easy. The tent material looks to be much more robust than what the price point would suggest and is indicative of a much more expensive tent. Bonus points for the bathtub floor and full rainfly. Zippers work smoothly with zero snags, and floorspace is spacious for an A frame style build. I'm just under 6' tall and can almost entirely stand up inside and barely have to hunch over for entry and exit. Overall the tent looks to be a good purchase and I'm looking forward to seeing how it stands up against the elements, which I believe at this point will not be a concern. I may even purchase another one just to have for any future needs.

Great Scout Troop Tent
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Our scouts raised the money to replace our aged tents and we wanted ones they could take pride in. These were a great get. We purchased them before a campout with rush delivery and they got there in plenty of time (thanks BC). The tents are great!. Easy set up so no learning curve, appear to be durable, and good size for 2-3 scouts w gear. The biggest piece was it poured on the first two campouts we had them on, everyone stayed dry, and they held up to strong winds. The tub bottoms are great and well made. I would not push these past three season as the walls are mesh and make the tents very breathable. Bonus of course during the summer. Time will tell for durability as they are used. The mesh sides and zippers are usually the first failing points but initial impression is they will hold up well. They are a little heavy for backpacking but can be divided among scouts for carrying.
