Here's what customers have to say

This rain jacket is generally effective at keeping the wearer dry, even in heavy rain. Reviewers report the jacket successfully protects against downpours, though some feel the material and lining are of lower quality than expected given the high price. Overall, the jacket seems to be a reliable rain protection option, though opinions are mixed on whether the quality matches the cost.

Waterproof lining peels off!

I loved this jacket, except the waterproof lining broke down and flaked off inside. I bought the exact same jacket to replace it. The lining on the second jacket did the same. Do not purchase.

Great buy! May get another one in a different color.

Lightweight and comfortable to wear, especially when raining. Kept me dry.

Do not buy this product.

This jacket is terrible quality. I received as a gift from my mom and with one wash, the interior lining flaked completely off. It was all over the clothes in my washer. I called Northface to ask them to help me figure out a solution, but did not want my mom to know I was returning this product, and they were less than helpful. Spend your money on something else or else elsewhere.

I own one and loved it so I bought one for my daughter!

I have this jacket and loved it so I purchased it for my daughter. She is a Golfer. She has used it several times on the Golf course during down pours and it has kept her dry. She loves it.

Rain jacket platonic ideal

Seriously. This thing kept my shirt totally dry while I was helping run a middle school camping trip in absolutely pouring rain. If it can do that it can do anything.

Did I just buy a plastic bag?

This is crazy that they charge so much for something that feels so flimsy and cheap. I thought there would be some soft fabric or netting inside. The inside lining looks and feels like a tarp.

I would buy this product again!

I love that it protects me from the rain so well, but I don't like the material on the inside of the jacket (it feels sticky to me; I have sensory issues!). It's a great jacket though!
