Lucky for us, the Arctic Down Parka keeps us toasty with 600-fill down that's protected by a 2-layer waterproof membrane that keeps out rain, sleet, ice, and snow. The parka also places moisture-tolerant synthetic insulation in high-moisture areas to provide a winter outer layer that maintains its loft and insulating capabilities in both wet and dry conditions. Comfortable and looks good!
I had a different color of this coat I bought 10 years ago that got lost in a move, and I knew I wanted this same one again! It's incredibly warm, it's easy to clean, and it looks great on.

Best coat for windy yards
Kept me warm and toasty on cold, windy, snowy days. Love the long length. Hood goes over my hat with no trouble.

Arctic Parka
Pretty warm, the fur around the hood seems to be stiff, almost wirey, gets bothers my face. I am not crazy about the thumb holes, they are not really warm, I will keep them folded up most of the time because they get in the way. The parka seems durable and relatively well made.

I bought this coat for my 14 year old daughter...she's been n a Northface since she was 2...I'm super satisfied with Northface...It's a all in one coat and very stylish too...

Size down
Seems very warm (waiting for the colder weather to wear this to walk my dogs).I originally ordered a size large based on the size chart (my waist and chest measurements were in the medium range, but hip measurement was right at a size large). The large was HUGE on me (for all measurements). Just received the medium and a much better fit. So I would say if you are unsure on size and on the border between 2 sizes, size down.
