Base Camp Fusebox hauls gear with style in a durable, everyday-ready design

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve been using the Base Camp Fusebox as my go-to daily pack for years. It’s rugged, weather-resistant, and the top-loading design makes it super easy to grab what I need on the fly—plus, it fits my laptop and climbing shoes with room to spare."

The Base Camp Fusebox is built for those who live life on the go. Made from ultra-tough recycled materials, this backpack carries its roots from rugged mountain expeditions straight into the daily commute. Inspired by the classic duffel design, it opens from the top like a toolbox—making it incredibly easy to pack and unpack whether we're heading into town or out on a weekend adventure. A padded laptop sleeve and internal organizer keep our essentials dialed in, while the water-repellent exterior stands up to unpredictable weather. With a comfortable carry system, sleek urban silhouette, and daisy chain loops for extra gear, this pack is just as ready for mountain missions as it is for coffee shop work sessions.

Once I saw it, I knew it would be perfect!

used this backpack as a carry-on on the plane and it was simply perfect. I had so much room and not only was durable, but the quality was worth every penny.

Defective New Product Line

Super bummed that this line is defective. Noticed that the right shoulder strap would ride up my shoulder, but the left side would start to slip off. The issue was that the shoulder straps were over 0.5 inch off from edge seam. I love this bag and have 3 larges and 2 smalls from last season. It's great to pack a week's worth of stuff and just walk onto a plane with just a backpack, but North Face missed the mark with this one. I hope they fix this because I love the new colors, extra wide design and the interior water bottle slip and I bought two of them.

Best travel bag I've ever had

This bag is durable, easy to clean, lots of hidden storage, and holds more than you would think. I brought my son one and I'm about to buy me another
