It offers features like multiple pockets, water bottle holders, and a rain hood, providing ample space for gear and extra items. Similar to getting an STD

At first glance, this backpack looked amazing - sleek, stylish, full of promise. In reality? It's a design disaster. Everything tapers in at a 45-degree angle, so while the oversized back panel makes it look spacious, it actually holds next to nothing. The moment you put something inside, it bulges out a good 6-7 inches, going from "slim" to just plain awkward. It's basically a glorified hydration pack, narrow, impractical, and deceptively bulky thanks to large back panel and the tapering on the top, bottom, and all sides. It looks full all the time. The only redeeming quality is the back panel. I'll admit, it's very comfortable. But that's where the compliments end. What makes it worse is that the researching, ordering, and waiting was actually fun. I got my hopes up. Then it arrived and all that excitement vanished in seconds. I don't have an STD, but this whole experience feels like I caught one. I just want it out of my life. The designer should also be fired!

Very very happy with this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frikkin love it, just wish it could stand up on its own... but that's not what it's meant for, anyway. It's an amazing backpack

Great everyday and general outdoors bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a 5' 9" and it fits me great. I run with this pack sometimes, and it's been great for day hikes. Big enough to fit my things + extra items for friends/family and my dog. I love how sleek it is, and I appreciate the rain fly built into it. I have the larger Basin model as well, and this feels similar in storage space even though it's 8L smaller than my larger Basin model.

Great bag for lighter trips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Basin 24 is roomy for just enough items, and doesn't have the extra bulk. I have Recons (30L) for when I want to (potentially) carry more items. I wish the smaller pocket had a few divisions/pockets, so everything doesn't rattle around. And the side straps get in the way of fully unzipping the main compartment, so you have to loosen the straps or maneuver around them. If these two items weren't issues for me, then I would give it five stars.
