Himalayan Suit delivers unmatched warmth and mobility for high-alpine expeditions

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

“I’ve tested the Himalayan Suit in brutally cold summit pushes and it’s next-level. The 900-fill ProDown™ keeps me toasty, even in nasty spindrift, and the new design offers better mobility and packability than previous models. It’s seriously the best armor for the big mountains.”

Every detail of the Himalayan Suit reflects a relentless pursuit of high-altitude performance. A product of years of athlete feedback and alpine experience, this suit stands as the pinnacle of mountaineering gear. The North Face engineered it for summit pushes on the world’s highest peaks—where unforgiving conditions demand ultimate thermal efficiency, freedom of movement, and reliable protection. With 900-fill ProDown™ and zoned synthetic insulation, it insulates where you need it most and breathes where you don’t. A DWR finish, FUTURELIGHT™ panels, and Spectra® reinforcements add rugged weatherproofing without compromise.

Inside, a self-equalizing vest system stabilizes load and fits comfortably beneath your pack. Massive internal pockets keep essentials like water bottles and snacks within reach. And when nature calls mid-ascent, the full rainbow drop seat makes it manageable—no need to strip down in sub-zero temps. This suit isn’t just gear—it’s your best chance at getting to the top and back safely.

Life saver, deserves a billion star rating

I used this Suit this season, during the Everest summit push, few of my teammates were suffering, I was so much comfortable with this, as I went higher and higher , I did not feel much different because of this suits extremely proficient heat trap system. Believe me guys , at 8000m altitude every single molecule of your gear matters and I made the right choice using this. The cold did not trouble me much allowing me to focus on the summit push. Buy this if you want to live!! haha
