Why We Like The Thermoball Traction Mule V Shoe

Drafty cabins and chilly basecamps can lead to cold feet, so The North Face designed the Thermoball Traction Mule V Women's Shoe to keep your toes toasty when there's nowhere to hide from dropping temperatures. The waterproof upper is packed full of ThermoBall synthetic insulation, which keeps your feet warm even if it gets a little wet when you stroll through some evening dew. An elastic slip-on design and collapsible feature makes the Mule V easy to slip on when you jump out of the tent in the middle of the night, and the partially recycled rubber sole gives you loads of traction for precarious campsite strolls.

Sleeping Bags for Your Feet

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
10

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like your feet are wrapped in tiny, insulated sleeping bags—while still being able to dash outside to chase raccoons off your campsite snacks—these are the mules for you. The slip-on design means I can stumble out of my tent for midnight bathroom runs without ever actually waking up, and the PrimaLoft ThermoBall Eco insulation is so warm, my toes forgot what “cold” even means!

Love these!

My daughter gave me a pair for Christmas. I wear a size 5....barely. These fit great. I can wear with or without socks. They keep my feet warm and dry. I would definitely recommend!

Can't recommend them enough

Love these! Bought them after seeing my glacier hike wear them around base camp in Iceland. I needed a pair of "ship shoes" for my trip to Antarctica that I could wear on deck, would keep my feet warm, but were comfy all day and had a back to them. These were PERFECT, and now that I'm home I wear them all the time.

Colorful, cute, warm slippers

If you want a zippy house slipper that is warm and cute as that proverbial bug's ear and can also zip outside with the garbage or down the street for the paper, here's the slipper for you. They don't play well with socks or slip on and off easily so if that's the slipper you want, keep shopping.

Not waterproof

They are mostly waterproof except where the sole is glued to the actual top of the shoe which means you get your toe wet even though the rest of it is fully waterproof which is silly. It's annoying because I bought them to be my waterproof shoe to easily slip on but it is so uncomfortable to get my toes wet when it's raining. Does not do what it's supposed to do.
