Poor Quality great pocket location
When I received this backpack I was so excited, the pockets are great and in fantastic locations so you can easily access while hiking. I took this back pack with me to Germany for a travel bag and hiking in the Alps. The trip was for 10 days. The side pockets for a water bottle are already coming undone on both sides after one trip. Very disappointed with the quality.

Good basic hiker's backpack
Looks good, haven't used it yet but hope it serves as all NF product does. Only thing I expected is a bit padding.

Great backpack for petite people
Lightweight, lots of pockets and functions, fits my frame well (I'm 5'3") -- can't wait to put to good use!

Perfect!
I love everything about this backpack. The hip straps have made a huge difference for my upper back pain. All of the pockets are very convenient. It's exactly what I was looking for

Great Hiking Bag
I love how spacious the bag is and that the water bottle pockets do have give in them for the larger metal or Nalgene bottles. The only down side is the lack of organizational pockets inside the bag.

Great everyday pack
Very comfortable. Easy to load. The hip straps offload almost all the pressure from the shoulders.

Great back pack.
I love this pack. The only thing that could make it better is if it had adjustments at the top of the straps to bring it in on my upper back. I did a two-night hike/camp and it fit everything I needed perfectly.

Beyond thrilled with this pack!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this pack for a week of day hikes (10 to 14 miles each day). I could not be happier with it. I have the small size, and it fits my 4'11" torso well. The hip belt sits properly, and the weight balances nicely. I was able to comfortably carry more weight than I expected, and I felt stable going up and down hills. It was great - I trekked along without having to think abut my pack. My favorite part of this pack is the shoulder straps. They are much softer and more flexible than other packs I tried, while still getting the job done. They adjust easily. They're shaped nicely and don't dig anywhere! The shoulder straps are often miserable for me with my small shoulders, and these are a dream. The cell phone pocket on the front of one strap is genuis, and I put my sunscreen in a corresponding pocket on the other shoulder strap. And I'm a huge fan of the bungee system on the back - very handy. Try out this pack. Seriously!
