Run longer in the Vectiv Enduris 4 Trail Running Shoe—cushioned propulsion for endless miles

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve put a lot of training miles on the Vectiv Enduris 4, and they’ve become my favorite for big trail days. The cushioning feels plush but still responsive, and the rocker midsole makes long runs feel smoother. The updated heel fit is really noticeable—no slipping on steep descents. They’re a solid pick if you want all-day comfort and confident traction."

When our training schedule calls for double-digit miles, The North Face Vectiv Enduris 4 Trail Running Shoe keeps us steady and energized. The brand’s flagship trail runner pairs a responsive DREAM nitrogen-TPU midsole with a trail-optimized VECTIV 3.0 plate to deliver long-lasting propulsion and confidence over technical terrain. Even on long, rolling ridgelines, the rocker geometry helps us maintain an efficient stride and reduces fatigue with every step.

Thoughtful updates set this generation apart. An improved heel fit and integrated tongue wings lock the foot in place, eliminating slippage on descents and tight corners. The dual-warp mesh upper offers breathable structure while using recycled materials, and the SURFACE CTRL outsole grips reliably over everything from slick roots to loose gravel. Designed to go the distance, this shoe gives us the freedom to chase our biggest goals.

Great shoe for running

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
8.5

I love this shoe! I wanted a men’s size 7 for width but bought women’s 8.5 because men’s 7 wasn’t available. I have wide forefeet with high arches. The shoe was snug on first try-on so I put on thick socks to loosen them. I ran in them with thin socks and had no problems. They are stable, nicely cushioned inside and the midsole is dreamy but not squishy, perfect. I love the laces! I took these on steep muddy rocky footy terrain without problems. Going down steep mud needed more attention due to rocker shape and 4 mm lugs. I prefer 5mm. I haven’t used them yet in sloppy mud but I have other shoes for that. Great shoe overall.

Updated and Amazing. These didn't let me down.

The Women's VECTIV Enduris 4 shoes were clearly updated since the Enduris 2 (which I still have). The new Dream sole is so cushiony and bouncy that it really propels you forward when running. They are lighter than the 2, but sturdy and provide great ankle support. While I use them for road running, the rugged tread clearly makes them ideal for trails as well. I really appreciate the more durable laces (more than the 2) and the slightly longer length than the 2 which makes them easier to tie but not so long as to get in the way or become untied while running. In fact, I never had a problem with these untying, feeling uncomfortable, or needing serious breaking in before my race. No blisters. No heavy foot feeling. I HIGHLY recommend buying these for any level of runner (I just used them in a 5k). Make the investment in something that will last and not weigh you down. Oh, and the Bright Foam/Midnight Petrol color pairs well with my TNF T-Shirt.

Good Looking! Good Performing!

Very good for running on trails. They have a lot of arch support but i do wish they had even a little bit more. However, so far, this shoe is performing for me. Thank you.

Second pair!

This is my second pair- saw they were on sale and snapped them up. I work on my feet all day, and these are so great for comfort and arch support.

I would buy this again.

I use these shoes for trail running. I find them to be very comfortable and durable. I have used them for varying distances (3-9 miles). I have small, narrow feet, and they fit me very well.

Pretty tight

Is it supposed to feel so tight or is there a break in period ? I know when you walk a lot or hike your feet swell up so is the compression supposed to be good ? Lol it would be cool to test them out but the return policy says the product needs to be unused ?
