Very good design

My pelvis is longer and I have a more "square" torso, not "hourglass." It makes me a decent runner, but a lot of leggings ride up my crotch. I'm extra picky with thick fleece. The north face nailed the fit!

Great fit and warm

I love these tights for biking in the fall weather. I was worried that they'd be too short for me as I'm 5' 10" but they're the perfect length at my ankles, size M. They fit perfectly at the waist, firmly hugging at the hips and down the leg and stay in place, no shifting down or sagging if you lunge, squat etc. I love the pockets on the sides and at the back and the pull string at the front is handy too. Recommend!
