Great rack! Just one improvment needed…
I got this rack to fit my BMW 230i and works great. The only thing I needed to change is the strap that holds the rack in the horizontal plane (most fwd lip of the trunk lid). The original that comes with the rack is just a hook. If the strap loses tension, i.e. like breaking and the rack tilts fwd, it can get detached and bye bye bikes. I replaced with a different kind of strap that ends in a round stopper that gets trap inside the trunk, highly recommended: (Saris bike rack hatch huggers). Hope this helps!

Not meant for mountain bikes
Set up was easy and quick. Unfortunately the front part of my bike frame is too large for the holder and having a full suspension bike stops you from being able to use the anti-sway clip. This results in the bike not feeling like it’s securely mounted. This carrier would be great for a road bike or a hard-tail mtb.

Ok but durability of parts is poor
Purchased about 2 months ago. Using daily. The rubber hold down straps and the carriers to hold the bike in place are not very durable. The carriers that cradle the bike where the straps attach are not made well. Durability a major issue. In use since 08 2023

It's ok.
I purchased the 2 bike Thule passage. It is pretty easy to install although, there is a few things I do not like. Starting off with the fact that it has no "locking features" such as being able to lock it into my car, so it isn't so easy to steal. Literally someone can just loosen up the straps and take the bike rack with no problem. With that being said I have to take it off when I get to my ride location, finish my ride re-install it. Which is a small hassle but still annoying. Another thing I do not like is that when I'm driving on the freeway my bike tends to swing. I know it's secured but it still makes me feel un-easy. Definitely not what I expected, then I tried to return it or exchange it, but I couldn't because I signed up for the pro-deal as an emergency responder, and now I'm stuck with a product that was not cheap and that I do not like.

Solid trunk rack
Solid trunk rack that does what I need it to do and is compatible with many cars. I’m able to move it between different cars and also any future car I may get will likely work!

I've seen some comments about this rack not working with a frame adapter. Can I just get confirmation that this rack can carry a step-thru frame bike using the Thule frame adapter bar? Likewise with a full suspension bike? I just want to be sure this rack will carry the bikes I need it for.
