Quick on and off
We don't get alot of snow in my part of Maryland, but I love hiking and the fitness aspects of snowshoeing is intriguing. I also love bow hunting in snow and have long hikes that can be exhausting in boots if the snow is 6 or more inches. I got to use these twice in January of 2025 and they travel great. What I really love is the dial system on the bindings. I wear a 12 boot and there is plenty adjustment in sizings. I just preset for the boot size, pull the button to lengthen the cables, step in , push the button, turn the dial and I am ready for traveling. I often travel sections of paved roads between sections of my wooded hunting property, so taking them off and back on again is quick, so this system is the way to go for hunters in snow season. Being a treestand hunter, the dial system is great for quickly taking them on and off to climb trees. Note; Don't climb trees with snowshoes on. Lol. I have a quick strap system for securing and throwing the snowshoes over my shoulder for the paved road travel . My woods are littered with down falls, so poles are important to keep balance while stepping over the debris. Dragging animals out of the woods is tough in general, and the shoes aid in traction, but only in more open areas. If I have to step over alot of woods litter, I take the snowshoes off and strap them on my backpack. The quick dial system makes all the on and off tolerable for me.
