Here's what customers have to say
This winter shoe receives mixed reviews. Many customers find it comfortable, well-made, and suitable for outdoor use in cold weather, with good traction on snow and ice. However, some report issues with the fit, such as the shoes being too wide or the heel slipping. A few also experienced quality problems, like the sole delaminating. Overall, the product seems decent for winter use, but customers may need to try different sizes to achieve the right fit.

These shoes are alright.
The shoes seem like they are good quality at this point, I have only had them a short time so we'll see how they hold up. Once the shoes are on the are pretty comfortable, I wear a size thirteen wide and they are good. The opening for these shoes is too small, it is very difficult to get these shoes on and off, and the opening on the front where the tongue would be on a traditional shoe rubs against the front of my foot which is not comfortable. I hope with time they will relax and be easier to get on and of and not rub as much.

My favorite shoe
I believe this is my third pair of this shoe. I purchased my first long ago during a "sidewalk shoe" at a local camping and bike shop. The only pair left just happened to fit me. I was used to putting inserts in my new shoes for self diagnosed plantar fasciitis. No more. All my Keen shoes feel great out of the box. They are the only brand I buy anymore. While now I have sneakers, sandals and slippers, these are my favorite style.

Comfy and Convenient
My second pair. These shoes are my first choice in Upstate NY winter for just about everything. Rugged, well built, and great traction go perfectly with the great look of the shoe. They will remain a staple for me.

Does not match my foot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried 3 sizes of this design and none of them hold my foot comfortably. The smaller size rubs the front of my toes and the other larger sizes are too loose on my heel. I really wanted the waterproof version of this shoe.

Love these shoes
I’m on my feet all day on a cold hard floor and good shoes are essential. Like that they’re waterproof

Can’t recommend for intended winter use
Caused painful blister from where the shoe and elastic join (where the tongue of the shoe would normally be). Have been wearing daily for two weeks hoping they’ll break in/ improve. Still rubbing and causing pain. Got these as a winter shoe, pretty warm but terrible on ice.

Great!
My dad needs 4E width shoes and these are one of the 2 shoes he can wear. I wish the Brixen Low wide came in black as well. But we order the brown in wide and he really loves them. He is 74. The Targhee III Slip-Ons in wide did not fit him. These were the best.

Like the Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The leather is stiff. I think the shoes might be very comfortable, warm, and dry when they are broken in.

couldn't wear them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for my ankles the top of the shoe is too stiff and after wearing them for a very short time my ankles were raw, so I had to return them.
